Back from GAMA with something big to share
Based on the feedback I've had so far, you're going to want to check this out
Hey ,
It’s been a whirlwind since coming back from GAMA a few weeks ago! I met a bunch of you in person for the first time which was awesome, spent a ton of time with the SortSwift team and got to see the Super Sorter hands on which was cool (videos from the trade floor coming soon!), recorded an interview with Lynn Potyen and Price Johnson (if you care at all about tariffs and what you can do about them, I recommend you give it a listen!), and played a handful of awesome new games into the bargain.
It was a great show, and I’m already planning my visit next year in Baltimore!
Since getting back I’ve had my nose to the grind stone.
I’ve been hinting at something new I’ve been cooking up and it’s finally time to launch this thing!
Here’s the pitch:
You run a tabletop game store, so you know the drill: juggling Friday Night Magic signups, tracking who's registered for the next league season, managing table reservations for Commander night, and somehow making it all work either with an app that’s built for bike rentals and yoga studios or ad hoc spreadsheets, or both!
I built EventForge to change that.
EventForge is an event management platform designed specifically for tabletop game stores, whether you're running Magic: The Gathering tournaments, Warhammer open play nights, Pokémon leagues, D&D campaigns, or casual board game meetups.
It’s built specifically with you as the store owner in mind to be exactly what you need to run and manage great community building events, while looking awesome and reducing friction for your customers and players.
Here's what you can do with EventForge:
Event Management: Set up Friday Night Magic once and it repeats forever. Assign tables, rooms, and locations so you never double-book. Set black out dates, event cut off times, cancellation windows, and more. Two levels of tagging so players can see the upcoming events they are specifically interested in, and even sort by casual or competitive, or whatever you choose! Tags are fully customizable.
Check out and play with the demo calendar I built right here to see how it feels from the customer’s perspective!

Event Collections: Create “event collections” (think D&D Camp or Prerelease Weekend) and sell multiday events with a single link. No more copy pasting five different event links.

Ticketing & RSVPs: Free RSVPs, paid tickets, or pay in store options for events. Players that register get an email with a QR code for check-in at the door. Cap seats, run waitlists, and offer promo codes to fill slow nights.

Table Reservations: Set open play/table reservation times on your calendar and manage them alongside your ticketed events, all in the same app.
Embed Your Calendars Anywhere: Paste one line of code and your website has a beautiful live event calendar. Updates automatically. You can create multiple calendars, each prefiltered for particular games and styled for the specific page.

Auto-Publish to Social: Create an event in EventForge and it appears on your Facebook Page, Meetup group, and Discord server instantly. Zero extra work.
Team & Player Management: Give your judge or TO their own login. Track every player's attendance history and reward loyalty automatically.
Analytics & Insights: See which events actually bring people through the door and which ones drive product sales via Shopify LTV.

Shopify Integration: Link booster packs, prerelease kits, or any product to an event and have your inventory reflect your ticket sales. See how much your event attendees spend in your store. Automatically create tickets when adding new events and sell them in your POS, and have the player registered in EventForge automatically. No more double bookings!
Custom Email Domain: Confirmation and reminder emails come from yourstore.com, not a random address players don't recognize.
Badges & Rewards: Players earn badges for hitting attendance milestones, 10th visit, 20th visit, etc. and you can auto-grant store credit to keep them coming back.
Whether you're a one-person shop running a handful of events each month or a multi-room venue with a packed weekly schedule, EventForge scales with you.
Getting started is free! The base plan gives you up to 15 events per month with one staff member, so you can try it out with zero risk. When you're ready to grow, our Plus ($50/mo) and Pro ($99/mo) plans unlock more events, team members, Shopify integration, advanced analytics, and custom branding. And if you sign up for an annual plan, you'll get two months free!
We'd love to have you on board. Come take a look and create your account:
Here's to fewer spreadsheets and more games at the table.
Tom
PS. I am committed to making this the absolute best event app for tabletop game stores so if you have a suggestion or a feature request that you think would be cool, let me know!
In the last three weeks, I’ve done a number of 1 to 1 demos for store owners to get feedback and incorporate what they wanted into the app, including:
Customer notes
Event notes
Cutoff timings
Flagging player accounts
Black out dates
Event autopublishing on a chosen date
Badges for playing in multiple game type events
The event collection pages
a ton more
I want this to be the most no-brainer app you use for your business possible so if you have an idea on what you’d want from the perfect event and calendar app, I want to hear it.
In the meantime, sign up for EventForge and get those tables filled!
