The Lorcana saga continues with Upper Deck trying to prevent the release of the game in August and we are only a few days away from the release of Tales of Middle-Earth which is primed to be one of the craziest MTG releases ever.

This summer is shaping up to be a hot one.

Big money tournaments may be making a comeback.

I like how they threw in the paella, definitely puts the offer over the top. I wonder how the drama of the discovery of the true One Ring will play out and how long it will take to surface.

Launch parties and organized play opportunities galore this summer.

Embracer Group CEO Lars Wingefors announced that they will be entering a restructuring program, which will include layoffs across their company. Embracer Group is the owner of Asmodee, Dark Horse, and Gearbox Entertainment, among other studios.

Lawsuits between Wizards of the Coast and the latest reanimation of TSR will stay on hold as the latter company liquidates assets.

🎲 Kickstarter Project

Cool games on the horizon

Part guessing game, part role-playing adventure. Guess their roll based on the description of their character's success. Curt Covert (check out his podcast interview right here) is the mind behind this project with a unique take on the traditional RPG adventure.

This campaign was just launched and is already more than 100% funded. (link)
